Mali stayed still. He trusted them.

Once cleaned, Mali was taken to a veterinary clinic for examination.

Against every expectation, there were no serious injuries. No burns. No broken bones. Just exhaustion and shock from what he had endured. His survival felt almost impossible — and yet, there he was.

Alive.

As Mali rested, something remarkable became clear.
