A Stray Dog Hiding in Fear
The video begins in a quiet construction area scattered with broken concrete and debris.
Among the stacked slabs, a brown stray dog hides nervously. At first glance, it seems like he is simply searching for shelter. But when the camera moves closer, the real problem becomes clear.
The dog’s entire head is trapped inside a large plastic jar, commonly known in India as a “Dabba.”
The rigid container covers his face completely.

Unable to see clearly, the dog struggles to navigate the uneven ground. Eating and drinking are impossible, and breathing inside the tight container becomes increasingly difficult.
Frightened and confused, he tries to hide beneath the concrete slabs, hoping to escape the strange object that has trapped him.
Rescuers Arrive at the Scene
Fortunately, a rescue team quickly arrives after learning about the trapped animal.
One rescuer carefully approaches the rubble while holding a long-handled rescue net. The area is unstable, filled with stacked concrete and loose debris, so every step must be cautious.
The team first locates the dog beneath the slabs.
Then they prepare a coordinated plan.
Video: The Moment Rescuers Free a Dog From a Plastic “Dabba”
One rescuer gently guides the dog out from the hiding spot while another waits with the net ready.
As the frightened dog moves away from the rubble, the rescuer quickly throws the net, safely securing him on the ground before he can run again.
Inside the net, the dog struggles briefly, confused and frightened.
But the net allows the rescuers to hold him safely while they begin the delicate work of removing the plastic jar.
Two rescuers work together.
One gently holds the dog’s body steady, keeping him calm and preventing sudden movements. The other carefully grips the plastic container around the dog’s neck.
Because the jar is tightly wedged, it cannot be removed with a simple pull.
Instead, the rescuer slowly twists and rotates the container while applying steady pressure.
The movement must remain controlled to avoid scratching or injuring the sensitive skin around the dog’s neck.
After several careful attempts, the container finally loosens.
Then, with one final motion, it slides free.

A Quick Return to Freedom
The moment the plastic jar is removed, the rescuers release the net.
The dog quickly jumps to his feet.
For a brief second he pauses, as if realizing the strange object around his head has finally disappeared.
Then he runs.
Within moments, the brown dog dashes away from the construction site and disappears across the open ground, free once again.
Preventing the Same Danger Again
Before leaving the area, the rescuers take one final step.
They crush the plastic jar underfoot, breaking it into pieces so it can never trap another animal.
For stray animals living among human waste and discarded objects, even a simple container can become a life-threatening trap.

But thanks to quick action and patience, this dog’s story ends with something far more hopeful.
A second chance to live freely again. 🐾
