Found Before His Eyes Ever Opened — Daben’s First 90 Days of Life

A Cry on the Roadside
On the first day of his life, Daben was found where no newborn should ever be. He lay by the roadside, his eyes still closed, his tiny body cold and fragile. Traces of blood and his umbilical cord were still visible. His cries were soft but urgent, calling into the silence. Someone stopped. And that single pause changed everything.

Seven Days of Constant Care
At home, the rescuer began a routine that left no room for rest. Every two hours, day and night, Daben was fed warm formula. His body was kept close to a heating pad, and cotton swabs were used to gently help him relieve himself. By the end of the first week, faint white fur began to appear on his paws — a quiet sign that life was taking hold.

Small Setbacks, Growing Strength
Around the ninth day, Daben faced his first health scare. He struggled with digestion and went two days without relief. With guidance from a veterinarian, treatment was started immediately. Soon after, his condition stabilized. By day fifteen, his eyes finally opened. The world was new, bright, and full of movement. He began to crawl, then push himself forward, curious and determined.

Learning to Stand, Learning to Trust
By day eighteen, Daben took his first unsteady steps on the sofa. His rescuer stitched tiny clothes from socks to keep him warm and comfortable. Each movement brought confidence. Each gentle touch built trust. What began as survival was slowly becoming a bond.

The Moment His World Truly Expanded
As Daben grew, so did his sense of play and connection.

This video follows Daben’s first weeks — from sleepless nights of feeding to his first steps, first play, and the routines that shaped his new life.

Discovering Routine and Personality
By day twenty-three, Daben was interacting freely, playing, and transitioning to soft solid foods. Deworming followed, along with his first bath. His personality emerged clearly — playful, curious, and always close to his rescuer. By day fifty, homemade meals replaced formula, and Daben learned where to go when nature called.

A Life Shared, Not Just Saved
By three months, Daben was unrecognizable from the newborn found on the roadside. His coat was bright white, his body strong, his energy endless. He enjoyed walks in the sun, routine vaccinations, and even a trip to the countryside, where he met a new canine friend. Together, they played and rested side by side. Daben’s story is not just about survival — it’s about what happens when patience, care, and love are given the time to grow.
